Daniel

Daniel was diagnosed in November 2010 with a high grade, malignant brain tumor. He was five and a half years old. For the next nine and a half years, Daniel fought cancer valiantly enduring 3 brain surgeries, cervical spine surgery, and many, many, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. He continually astounded his medical team by not playing by cancer's rules, but by Daniel's. Daniel far surpassed his original prognosis.

Daniel made his journey look very easy. Always joyful. Always smiling. Always ready with a witty remark. He loved tacos, Diet Coke, Hershey's chocolate, Ford Mustangs, and most importantly, God. Daniel was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on April 16th, at the age of 14. Sweet boy, you led a life full of grace, bravery, love, kindness, and a little bit of sass. We miss you SO much. Daniel is forever with us.
